Sleepy Owl Mason Jar Cozy
Mason jars are one of my favorite ways to store things - crochet hooks, buttons, pens. A while ago I made a fox mason jar cozy I seem to have a bit of a problem with collecting crochet hooks. Does one really need five of the same hook. Apparently 😊
But then I realized I have a problem. Well, other than having too many hooks. My pens were getting lost among all those hooks. Solution... buy another mason jar and make another cute cozy for it. Introducing the sleepy owl mason jar cozy!
I chose to make mine with blue and gray because eventually, those will be the main colors when I finally get around to redoing my office. But you can use whatever colors match your house.

Friendly Octopus
Lately I've been seeing a lot of crochet octopuses (octopi?). I already make mini ones that are available for purchase in my Etsy shop, but I figured I was long overdue to make a big octopus. I made this one using worsted weight yarn, but I think it would make a great cuddle buddy with bulky or blanket yarn. These don't take long to make and are a great project for when you want to play around with color!

Thanksgiving Turkey Crochet Toilet Paper Roll Cover
As a crocheter, I find it necessary to crochet my own home decor, especially for the holidays. Not only is it fun to create things, I also end up with decorations that no one else has!
We recently bought a new house and our powder room is rather plain. To jazz that room up a bit when I have my family over for Thanksgiving, I am definitely placing this turkey toilet roll cover in the powder room!

Rainbow Slouch Crochet Hat
Winter is coming! No one wants to admit it, especially me, but it's true.
My kids love when I make them hats because it's easier for me to make what they want instead of aimlessly roaming stores looking at hats that are ok, but not really what they want.
I made this rainbow slouch hat for my daughter a few years ago and while it still fits, it is very well worn and she could use a new one. It's about that time of year to crochet hats so we're not scrambling to find something on that first cold day.
You can certainly use any color combinations you (or your child) wants, but I don't think I've met anyone who doesn't love a rainbow.

Star Scrubbies
Crochet scrubbies are a great way to use up leftover yarn from other projects. You can use these scrubbies to wash yourself or to clean your house. Cotton yarn works best for items like these. You can use any colors your heart desires. At the bottom of the post, I have some tips for using different colors, including red, white and blue stars.

Happy Cactus Pin Cushion
It seems everywhere I turn I see a succulent. If you're like me (crafty with a black thumb), it might be better to make yourself a happy little cactus. If you're a crafter, you can stick all your pins in needles in your cactus. Or you can one of these cheerful guys for someone you know who also loves plants but also has a black thumb.

St. Patrick's Day Leprechaun Boot Cuffs
Boot cuffs are some of my favorite things to make. Not only are they simple, but they work up pretty quick!
I don't know about you, but where I live, March is typically a pretty chilly month and still falls into the boot cuff season. But whether is cold or not, showing off your Irish spirit is a must for St. Patrick's Day!

Be A Unicorn Cup Cozy
Why be ordinary when you can be a unicorn!
Ok, so maybe we can't actually be unicorns (I know, it's sad and I apologize) but we can put a unicorn on our favorite cup and pretend as we sip on some glorious coffee. Or whatever your beverage of choice is. I don't judge... drink whatever you like 😉
